Eight years ago when I first started my business at seven months pregnant with a one year old at home, I had no clue how to create a successful business as a new founder with a family to look after.
With huge ambition to tackle workplace inequality I made massive progress but also ran into so many brick walls to make my dream a reality as we expanded our family and moved across the world.
I had no relatable, real-life roadmap from or for founders like me - three kids under five and responsibilities I couldn’t just drop.
Yes, over the following years, I got there.
Successfully building communities of 80,000 women, winning award after award, raising hundreds of thousands dollars from investors, building innovation after innovation, becoming known as an expert speaker in my space, expanding across the globe….
…until eventually I had my second tech business acquired for seven figures in 2023.
I made it. And I learned so much from some of the best out there.
Including this - it doesn’t need to be that hard.
